A fines de ese a\u00f1o, fue elegido como \u201cAuto Importado 2000\u201d por el Consejo de<br>Periodistas del Autom\u00f3vil (CPA). El auto global de Ford, de gran \u00e9xito en el mercado europeo,<br>tom\u00f3 ciudadan\u00eda argentina a partir de agosto de 2000, cuando comenz\u00f3 a producirse en la<br>planta de General Pacheco. La fabricaci\u00f3n local demand\u00f3 una inversi\u00f3n de 117 millones de<br>d\u00f3lares y fue proyectada para abastecer tanto al mercado local como al resto del Mercosur y<br>otros pa\u00edses de la regi\u00f3n.<br>El Focus argentino se ofrec\u00eda con dos versiones de carrocer\u00eda, bicuerpo (cinco puertas) y<br>tricuerpo (cuatro puertas), y tres opciones de motor, dos nafteras y una di\u00e9sel. Los motores<br>nafteros eran el Zetec 1,8 de 115 cv y el Zetec-E 2,0 de 130 cv. Por su parte, la opci\u00f3n di\u00e9sel<br>era el impulsor Lynk TD de 1,8 litros y 90 cv. Con los motores nafteros, el Focus pod\u00eda alcanzar<br>una velocidad m\u00e1xima cercana a los 200 km\/h, mientras que con el diesel la m\u00e1xima era de<br>184 km\/h.<br>El nuevo producto de <a href=\"https:\/\/autosdelpodio.com\/autos\/tag\/ford\/\">Ford <\/a>se ofrec\u00eda en versiones LX, CLX y Ghia, esta \u00faltima era la m\u00e1s<br>equipada y sumaba control de tracci\u00f3n, techo corredizo, computadora de a bordo, faros<br>antiniebla, frenos a discos traseros y ABS.<br>El Focus fue protagonista de un hecho hist\u00f3rico para Ford cuando el 13 de octubre de 2005 se<br>entreg\u00f3 la unidad 2.000.000 producida en el complejo industrial de Tigre.<br>En septiembre del 2008, Ford present\u00f3 la segunda generaci\u00f3n del Focus, pero sin descontinuar<br>la primera que se mantuvo en la l\u00ednea de montaje hasta noviembre de 2009. Con opciones de<br>carrocer\u00edas de cuatro y cinco puertas, esta l\u00ednea adopt\u00f3 el estilo de la fase II de la l\u00ednea<br>europea, m\u00e1s sobria y menos rupturista que la del primer Focus, acorde con el estilo que Ford<br>denominaba \u201cKinetic Design\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"325\" src=\"https:\/\/autosdelpodio.com\/autos\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Focus_1G_02.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8396\" srcset=\"http:\/\/autosdelpodio.com\/autos\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Focus_1G_02.jpg 500w, http:\/\/autosdelpodio.com\/autos\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Focus_1G_02-300x195.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">El momento en el que Ford Argentina alcanz\u00f3 su unidad 2.000.000 en su planta de Pacheco<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>El nuevo Focus se comercializaba con distintos niveles de equipamiento en las versiones Style,<br>Trend, Trend Plus y Ghia. El equipamiento fue actualizado y mejorado con la incorporaci\u00f3n de<br>\u00edtems como espejos exteriores climatizados, con luz intermitente incorporada y color carrocer\u00eda,<br>faros delanteros direccionales, limpiaparabrisas con sensor de lluvia e intermitencia variable,<br>apertura de puertas con comando a distancia, apertura y cierre global remoto de cristales y<br>bot\u00f3n de arranque y encendido.<br>El Focus II se ofrec\u00eda con dos opciones de motor naftero, el Sigma 1.6 de 110 cv y el 2.0L<br>Duratec-HE de 145 cv. La opci\u00f3n di\u00e9sel era el 1.8 TDCi de 115 cv. Todas las motorizaciones<br>pod\u00edan acoplarse a una transmisi\u00f3n manual de cinco relaciones, en tanto para el motor 2 litros<br>pod\u00eda optarse por una caja autom\u00e1tica de cuatro marchas.<br>En el marco del 6\u00ba Sal\u00f3n del Autom\u00f3vil de Buenos Aires, realizado en junio de 2013, Ford<br>anunci\u00f3 la llegada de la tercera generaci\u00f3n del Focus a partir del segundo semestre de ese<br>a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Continuar\u00e1&#8230;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El Ford Focus lleg\u00f3 a la Argentina en septiembre de 1999, con unidades importadas desdeEspa\u00f1a.
